On June 8, 2012, Galina Kurlyandskaya took part in the meeting chaired by Presidential Aide Elvira Nabiullina that took place at the Executive Office of the RF President and discussed the draft federal law “On Amendments to the Budget Code of the RF Pertaining to Further Improvement of the Budgetary Process and to Individual Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation”. Representatives of federal authorities and experts stated their positions on the draft law and recommended it for the first reading. At the same time they pointed out a number of controversial provisions, amendments to which it was decided to postpone until the second reading: issues related to the formulation of the list of public (municipal) services, a new kind of budget loans, a clear definition of the state (municipal) program and others.
