Galina Kurlyandskaya took part in the discussion of the report made by Dmitry Medvedev at the plenary session of the 10th Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum “Russia: Roadmap of Change”
On February 14 – 16, 2013, the city of Krasnoyarsk hosted the 10th Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum “Russia: Roadmap of Change” that was supported by the Government of the Russian Federation, RF Ministry of Economic Development, RF Ministry of Regional Development and Krasnoyarsk Krai Government. Its participants discussed strategic initiatives of the national socio-economic development for the period up to 2018 and new models of economic growth that determined institutional changes and improved quality of life. An important contribution to the debate were the analysis of RF regions’ input into modernization of the national economy, discussion of prospective development of Siberia and the Far East as well as the assessment of Russia’s chances to be included into the digital economy global network.
The Forum participants included members of the RF Government, Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, federal executive authorities, Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in Siberian Federal District as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities, development institutions, public corporations, business community and leading Russian and foreign experts.
Dmitry Medvedev opened the plenary session with his report “Policy Priorities of the Russian Federation to 2018”. At the beginning, he stated that the Russian economy had actually stopped growing.
