On March 21, 2012, CFP Director General Galina Kurlyandskaya reported on the proposals for decentralization and intergovernmental fiscal relations reform at the extended meeting of the members of the Working Group on Regional Policy and Government Decentralization.

The Working Group, of which Ms. Kurlyandskaya is a member, was set up pursuant to Presidential Decree on the establishment of a working group to develop the Open Government system in Russia.

The extended meeting of the Working Group was attended by representatives of federal ministries and agencies, experts and – via video conference – by about 30 governors and leaders of regional finance authorities.
