On July 31 – August 2, 2012, CFP Director General Galina Kurlyandskaya and Deputy Director General for Legal Issues S. Vlasikhin visited Karachai-Circassian Republic, a pilot region under the Strengthening Local Governance in the North Caucasus project.

They had a working meeting with the leaders of the Finance Ministry of the Republic to discuss preliminary results of the Project implemented by the CFP and the KCR regional authorities from September 2011 to July 2012. Another meeting devoted to next year project activities was organized with the finance leaders of Karachayevsk city district.
